From Heartbreak Hotel it’s a 380km drive South to Barkly Homestead across the expanse of the Barkly Tablelands. A necessary refuel stop here and an overnight at Wonara Bore Rest Area where we were treated to a typical Barkly sunset.
Once again we pulled into the Camooweal Billabong free camp and stayed for a few days to enjoy the wildlife and a rest after pressing on since the middle of the NT.
