Our second stay in Mt Isa at the same place as before. The AAOK Caravan Park is primarily a miners camp full of Dongas with space for about 20 or so tourist vans. It has excellent facilities including free laundry and apart from the rooster is very quiet! We were attempting to have our faulty fridge looked at but the local Dometic service agent was booked out for a month so no luck there. We took a quiet week break here before moving back towards the coast.
Quite a shady park and at the Western extremity of Mt Isa there is an abundance of bird life here
