Clairview on the Queensland coast is between Rockhampton and Mackay and has a well known Caravan Park favoured by many locals and interstate visitors for the Winter season up here. A bit less popular in Summer it was easy to get a powered site for 3 days, right at the beach front. With 2 to 3kms of beach you can walk Northwards and then back via the road and through the “village” as such.

This stretch of coast has very shallow beaches making for a long tidal change ou to sea, this exposes huge areas of sand and rocks to be wandered around and explored at low tide.
