September 17-24, 2022

From Bli Bli we headed inland to the township of Murgon and the nearby Barambah Bush Caravan Park; another little “pocket” of South East Queensland we had only once visited for a brief stay in our early travels.

The Barambah Bush park is in a delightful setting of acreage with several bushwalks created by the owners.

The pictures take in the various walks created around the property as well as the South Burnett Rail Trail which passes close  by the access to Barambah Bush and has Murgon as it’s central point. The section North to Kilkivan is unsealed and we walked several km out and back; the Southern half (to Kingaroy) is sealed and while Frances did a run Keith rode the bike.
